The bottom line is that, for MDBA breeders, raising the best dogs they can is much more than any business could ever be. It’s a passion, an honour, a labour of love and a huge lifelong commitment. You as a prospective puppy buyer can reap the benefits of this when you select one of their puppies

Dealing with an MDBA rescue member is a great experience and people wanting a new pet which has been given a second chance can relax in the knowledge that the person they are dealing with is motivated to placing dogs with people who will be happy with their choice for the rest of the dog’s life.
MDBA members become involved in helping dogs in need of rescue/re-homing because of a love of dogs and a genuine desire to see the people who own them remain happy in their choice.
They make accurate and professional assessments and don't fudge over the things new owners need to know about their prospective new pet. Choosing the right home for these dogs is a labour of love.
MDBA Responsible Pet Owners

MDBA Responsible Pet Owner members are ordinary pet owners with either purebred or crossbred dogs.
These members are special in that they are happy to sign a Code of Conduct relating to the proper care and control of their pet. Some are first time dog owners and others are old hands. Our youngest member is 7 years old!
MDBA Responsible Pet Owner Members protect their dog’s health and quality of life by learning all they can and ensuring all they do is centred on living with and enjoying the company of their animals.

The aim of this membership is to raise the standards of services provided to dog owners and their animals to provide a method which members of the public can use to help them to determine which services have agreed to comply with our voluntary code of conduct and have passed our screening process.
We take pleasure in recommending our members over their peers for their excellence in provision of canine services and their ethical standards. They place service to their customers and ethics over personal gain. They put the welfare of the dog and their owners over all else as they go about their professions.
